3rd Grade and the Human Body

3rd graders have been investigating the human body. We cover four units: bones, joints, muscles, and coordination. During the investigation of bones students are able to investigate owl pellets. They take time to break the pellet apart and look for different rodent bones they find (pictures below). They also make models of joints and muscles.
