Grundy Center Middle School focuses on the needs of young adolescents throughout their middle school experience.  An innovative schedule offering fewer classes per day for longer amounts of time allow middle school students to gain a deeper understanding of the subject’s content.  Believing in a well-rounded student the vocational arts and fine arts are also infused into our curriculum.  Each grade level has exploratory classes which expose them to a variety of fields of study which they may wish to pursue in high school as well as a physical education program focused on creating active, healthy lifestyles.  Finally, students have the opportunity to get involved with instrumental music and vocal.  While young adolescents have many needs we believe our class offerings coupled with a caring adult (advisor) truly give our middle school students a unique experience.
