Position Title: 1st Shift Custodian & Bus Associate
This is a year-round position with a focus on custodial responsibilities during the summer.
Starting Pay: $13.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Custodial Duties:
- Float between the elementary and secondary buildings to maintain clean, safe, and well-kept school environments.
- Foster positive relationships with staff, students, supervisors, and community members.
- Communicate updates or concerns about assignments with other custodial staff and/or the Maintenance Director.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including removing trash, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.
Bus Associate Duties:
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus.
- Ensure student safety and monitor behavior during the ride.
- Provide physical assistance as needed, including securing mobility devices and supporting students with special needs.

Elementary Teaching Position 1.0 FTE

The elementary position works with students, teachers, families, AEA staff, and administrators along with engaging in grade level PLC work.

Grundy Center Community School District is currently accepting applications for**Substitute Route and Activities Bus Drivers.**Shifts are available as needed.
A successful candidate will have a valid Iowa CDL License, Class B with airbrake and bus and passenger endorsement. All job offers are contingent on passing a DOT Physical and pre-employment drug testing.
